The US National Park Service offers several days each year when entry to all national parks is free of charge. The free days are intended to encourage people to visit and explore the parks without having to worry about the usual entrance fees.
Here are the National Park free days for 2023:
- January 15 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
- April 22-23 (National Park Week)
- August 25 (National Park Service Birthday)
- September 30 (Public Lands Day)
- November 11 (Veterans Day)
Note that while entrance fees are waived on these free days, other fees such as camping, tours, and reservations may still apply.
